Overview
The Dental Hygienist works in conjunction with a dentist to meet the oral health needs of patients, while keeping the patient’s care, comfort and safety as the primary concern. The Dental Hygienist assesses the oral health of the patient, teaches patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies, removes hard and soft deposits from all surfaces and applies preventive materials to the teeth while maintaining policies and procedures consistent with the Family Health Center and Marshfield Clinic Health System.

- Minimum
Required:
Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene. - Preferred/Optional:
Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. - Experience
- Minimum
Required:
None - Preferred/Optional:
Two years’ experience as a Dental Hygienist. - Certifications/Licenses
- Minimum
Required:
An unrestricted Wisconsin Registered Dental Hygiene License. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Local anesthetic State of Wisconsin Certification. - Preferred/Optional:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association at time of hire.
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
32 - 40 hours per week
