As a Dental Hygienist, you will serve as a clinical provider and patient advocate, delivering exceptional dental care while supporting the patient care team. You will utilize your knowledge of dental procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation to ensure quality service. The position offers comprehensive support through mentorship, ongoing education, and access to high-quality supplies and labs.
Responsibilities- Providing preventive dental care and education to patients
- Supporting the clinical team with dental hygiene procedures
- Engaging in continuing education to enhance clinical skills
- Maintaining accurate patient records and medical histories
- Adhering to safety and health protocols, including TB testing
- Current dental hygienist license in WI
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (if required)
- Knowledge of dental procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR certification
- Experience with digital x-rays, digital scanners, and electronic medical records (preferred)
- Desire for continuous learning and professional growth
- Ability to perform essential duties with reasonable accommodations
- Prolonged sitting and standing
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Availability for periodic training sessions
