Our privately owned practice is seeking a experience Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. We are looking for part time or full time. We are a tech savvy office that keeps up with all the new dental technology. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care, focusing on patient comfort and education. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Our office will be relocating this winter to a new building as we expand.
Office hours:
Monday: 7:30am-5:00pmTuesday: 6:30am-4:00pmWednesday: 6:30am-3:00pmThursday: 7:30am-2:00pmRegistered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Qualifications:
* Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
* Local anesthesia license
* Experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
* Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with medical records management.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
* Experience with Open Dental software
Responsibilities:
* Perform thorough patient assessments and document medical histories accurately.
* Administer local anesthesia as needed and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
* Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
* Sterilize dental instruments properly
* Monitor hygiene supplies
