Pediatrician - Urgent Care in Appleton, WI Competitive salary.
Board Eligibility/Certification:
Must be ABP Eligible or Certified
Full-time and part-time positions available:
o0.6 FTE: Two 12-hour shifts per week, including every 3rd week.
o0.9 FTE: Three 12-hour shifts per week, including every 3rd weekend. No overnight call responsibilities. Patient volume:
Typically 2–3 patients per hour.
Part of a pediatric joint venture focused on improving health and wellness for children and teens across Northeast and Central Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Pediatric urgent care is a growing field, viewed by families as an extension of primary care, helping reduce unnecessary ER visits by addressing low-acuity conditions after hours.
Responsibilities- Provide urgent care services to children and teens in the pediatric urgent care center.
- Manage low-acuity conditions after hours to reduce unnecessary ER visits.
- Collaborate with pediatricians and APPs focused on evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
- Participate in data‑driven quality improvement and ongoing educational opportunities.
- Receive and incorporate feedback from providers and staff to guide decision‑making.
- Board eligible or certified in Pediatrics (ABP).
- Current medical license in Wisconsin.
- Experience in urgent care or similar fast‑paced pediatric settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
