Physician - MD​/DO - Addiction Medicine

SSM Health in Wisconsin is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Addiction Medicine Physician to lead the development of a new Addiction Medicine program
. This unique opportunity is ideal for a physician who is excited to create, shape, and grow a comprehensive addiction treatment program while partnering with an integrated health system committed to improving community health.

• Lead the development of a new Addiction Medicine program
• Create and implement clinical workflows, treatment models, and program strategy
• Build relationships with primary care, behavioral health, inpatient, and community partners
• Help expand access to evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders
• Opportunity to recruit and mentor future program team members
• Strong health system support with resources to establish a sustainable and impactful service line

• Location will be in the Madison, Wisconsin area

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Visionary leader with a passion for innovation and program development
• Collaborative physician dedicated to improving outcomes for patients struggling with addiction
• Motivated to build a program that will serve as a long‑term community resource
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited residency program
• Fellowship training preferred but not required
• In lieu of fellowship, demonstrated experience working exclusively with this patient population is required
• Willing to see patients remotely if needed
