Job Summary

Join the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in the Pee Dee Division to become part of a growing, patient‑centered Primary Care team dedicated to delivering high‑quality, comprehensive healthcare across the region. You will work alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff in a collaborative, supportive environment focused on providing exceptional care to patients of all ages.

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with current licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina.
• Currently licensed (or eligible) in the state of South Carolina as a Physician Assistant by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners or as a Nurse Practitioner with the SC Board of Nursing.
• Required certification in BLS. APRN or PA must maintain licenses, certifications, CNEs/CMEs, and other requirements as applicable by policy and state law.
• Valid DHEC and DEA license.

• Outpatient evaluation and treatment based on history, physical examination, radiological, laboratory, and other diagnostic test results pursuant to the practice agreement or scope of practice guideline.
• Initiate referrals to other health care providers and/or consult with the attending physician or collaborating physician.
• Document and bill for direct care provided.
• Potential to precept students at MUSC enrolled as an advanced practice provider student and facilitate the learning of other new team members.
• Work schedule:
  
  Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm;
  Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm.
