Position Community-based Pediatric Cardiologist - Assistant​/Associate Professor | Northeast WI

Position Summary:

The Department of Pediatrics and Children's Specialty Group, Division of Cardiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible physician (or appropriate faculty role) to join our expanding Cardiology team, supporting our Northeast Wisconsin
- Fox Valley Region. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.

Position Highlights:

• Join a growing pediatric cardiology team in Northeast Wisconsin as the fourth regional cardiologist, helping expand access to nationally recognized cardiovascular care for children and families.

• Enjoy a predominantly ambulatory practice with approximately three to four days per week in Northeast Wisconsin clinics, fostering longitudinal relationships with patients, families, and referring providers.

• Spend one day per week in Milwaukee with clinical responsibilities tailored to your interests, expertise, and career goals.

• Practice within the Herma Heart Institute, one of the nation's leading pediatric and congenital heart programs, while maintaining a strong community presence in Northeast Wisconsin.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes pediatric cardiologists, congenital heart surgeons, cardiac intensivists, electrophysiologists, interventionalists, advanced practice providers, and specialized nursing staff.

The Pediatric Cardiology Division at the Medical College of Wisconsin and Children's Wisconsin is seeking a pediatric cardiologist to join its growing Northeast Wisconsin team. This position represents an exciting opportunity to become the fourth pediatric cardiologist based in Northeast Wisconsin, supporting a region with increasing demand for high-quality pediatric cardiovascular care and a strong commitment to expanding local access to specialty services.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of three established cardiologists providing comprehensive outpatient cardiology care throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Together, the team works closely with primary care providers, regional hospitals, and community partners to deliver exceptional care while fostering meaningful relationships with patients and families across the region.

This role combines the benefits of a community-based ambulatory practice with the resources and support of a nationally recognized academic heart center. Clinical responsibilities will include approximately three days per week of outpatient pediatric cardiology practice in Northeast Wisconsin, with additional clinical activities in Milwaukee that may be tailored to the candidate's interests, expertise, and career goals.

The candidate will be integrated into the Herma Heart Institute (HHI), one of the nation's premier pediatric and congenital heart programs. The HHI includes 3 congenital heart surgeons, 30 pediatric and adult congenital cardiologists, eight pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists, 11 pediatric intensivists, 22 advanced practice providers, and a multidisciplinary team of more than 300 professionals dedicated to advancing cardiovascular care for children and adults with congenital heart disease.
