We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 120-day assignment in Wisconsin, starting Oct 5, 2026. The schedule involves Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM shifts with an hour for lunch. The ideal candidate will focus on geriatric and preventative medicine, providing comprehensive patient care aimed at reducing hospital admissions, while ensuring accurate coding and charting.
Responsibilities and Duties- Provide comprehensive geriatric and preventative primary care to a diverse patient panel.
- Manage cases including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, CHF, CAD, COPD/asthma, CKD, thyroid disorders, osteoarthritis, chronic pain, dementia/cognitive decline, falls, mobility, osteoporosis, and acute illnesses/infections.
- Conduct preventive care and annual wellness visits.
- Perform medication management and specialized geriatric care.
- Ensure accurate and timely coding and charting of patient encounters.
- Focus on strategies to keep patients out of the hospital, particularly those at high and emerging risk.
- Required Board
Certifications:
Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, or Internal Medicine. - EMR System: eClinical
