Position: CTE Student Intern Placement - Appleton West High School - SY
Description:
This position is temporary, part-time, and non-benefit eligable.
Hours:
Approximately 10 hours per week.
Duties may include:
- Helping to create displays in the classroom or display case
- Photocopies and laminating
- Assist in the setup of classroom technology
- Assist in monitoring student individual work time
- Assist in preparations for special projects or activities you have in your classroom
- Working with small groups of students on a particular subject area (small group reading, math)
- Read a story to a group
- Escort children to recess, health room, related arts, cafeteria, office, etc.
- Creating lesson plans or classroom activities
- Introduce a segment of a classroom lesson
- Help set up the classroom environment over the summer as needed
- Maintain confidentiality about students, families, and the classroom. Sign a confidentiality agreement.
