Overview
Are you a socially conscious, dedicated professional with a passion for building a better future for children, families, and their communities? Join us as a Head Start Teacher supporting early childhood education programs across the country and create positive outcomes for the children and families served.
Your RoleYou will be responsible for a Head Start classroom of 3‑ to 5‑year‑old children. Working collaboratively with an assistant teacher, family members, and other staff you will help achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities.
What You’ll Do- Support an age‑appropriate learning environment.
- Implement the provided curriculum.
- Complete child assessments.
- Help meet all children’s needs.
- Participate in professional growth and collaboration.
- Commitment and passion to work with children.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education, or a degree with at least 12 credits in Early Childhood Education.
- Experience teaching preschool‑aged children.
