Head Start Teacher

Overview

Are you a socially conscious, dedicated professional with a passion for building a better future for children, families, and their communities? Join us as a Head Start Teacher supporting early childhood education programs across the country and create positive outcomes for the children and families served.

You will be responsible for a Head Start classroom of 3‑ to 5‑year‑old children. Working collaboratively with an assistant teacher, family members, and other staff you will help achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities.

• Support an age‑appropriate learning environment.
• Implement the provided curriculum.
• Complete child assessments.
• Help meet all children’s needs.
• Participate in professional growth and collaboration.

• Commitment and passion to work with children.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Degree in Early Childhood Education, or a degree with at least 12 credits in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience teaching preschool‑aged children.
