Montessori School Administrator Fox Valley Montessori Academy
Fox Valley Montessori Academy is seeking a caring, organized, and dependable Montessori School Administrator to support the daily operations of our learning community in Appleton, Wisconsin. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative school environment and is passionate about supporting children, families, and staff through strong organization, communication, and administrative support.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who values early childhood education and wants to play an important supportive role within a Montessori school community.
About the RoleThe School Administrator works closely with school leadership and teaching staff to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of Fox Valley Montessori Academy. This role provides administrative and organizational support across many areas of the school, including family communication, enrollment support, scheduling, recordkeeping, and assisting with school events and operations.
The School Administrator helps create a welcoming and organized environment for children, families, and staff while supporting the school’s mission and Montessori philosophy.
Fox Valley Montessori Academy operates as a private school with a traditional school-year calendar, along with a separate summer camp program.
We are also committed to supporting staff growth. Additional on-site training will be provided, and there may be opportunities for Montessori training or further professional development for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative and organizational support to school leadership
- Assist with family communication, enrollment inquiries, and scheduling
- Help maintain student records, forms, and school documentation
- Support daily school operations and office management tasks
- Assist with planning and coordination of school events, programs, and summer camp logistics
- Help support staffing coordination and classroom coverage as needed
- Cover in various classrooms for staff time off
- Maintain a welcoming, professional, and organized school environment
- Collaborate with leadership and staff to support the needs of the school community
- Administrative, office, school, or childcare experience required
- Montessori certification preferred but not required
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred but not required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and dependable demeanor
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working with children, families, and school staff
- Interest in Montessori education and child development
- Proactive, flexible, and eager to learn
