The Appleton Area School District has a position available for a 1.0 FTE EL Swahili/Kinyarwanda Interpreter Paraprofessional at Kaleidoscope Academy (50%) and Wilson Middle School (50%) beginning on 08/24/2026.

Introduction

Kaleidoscope Academy charter school engages young adolescents in their learning through hands-on, arts-enhanced, engaging projects and personalized learning with the assistance of dedicated, passionate staff. KA is dedicated to being a place where students have a voice and choice in their learning that best suits their needs. We have elective classes that are not offered at any other middle school, including courses such as culinary, dance, theater, expanded music options, and so much more.

We are looking for innovative, creative staff that are willing to think outside the box and try new things.

Qualifications
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in Swahili/Kinyarwanda
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a variety of settings with professional staff, students, and parents
  • Strong academic skills and familiarity with school environment is highly recommended
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
