The Cross Categorical Special Education Teacher provides specialized instruction, intervention, and support for intermediate-aged students with disabilities, primarily students identified with Other Health Impairments (OHI) and Emotional Behavioral Disabilities (EBD). The teacher develops and implements individualized educational programs that promote academic growth, social-emotional development, and positive behavioral outcomes while ensuring students have access to rigorous grade-level curriculum and meaningful inclusion opportunities.
