Adjunct Instructor - Political Science (POSC 4636: Terrorism)

Position Overview:

The Political Science department is hiring an adjunct instructor to teach POSC 4636 (Terrorism) beginning August 2026. Responsibilities include course and syllabus preparation, grading, and maintaining a minimum of three office hours per week. The role supports undergraduate coursework in the Political Science major.

• Full responsibility for the course taught, including course and syllabus preparation.
• Grading exams, papers, and other assignments.
• Maintain a minimum of three office hours per week.
• Contribute to undergraduate coursework in the Political Science major.

• Master’s degree preferred, or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.

• Earned Master’s degree and/or five years of teaching experience or other suitable professional experience.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
