The YMCA of the Fox Cities is hiring part‑time staff for our school age child care programs at the Appleton, Hortonville/Greenville, Kaukauna, Kimberly, Neenah and other area elementary schools . Work with children ages 5-12 and help provide child care before school at a designated neighborhood school site. Supervise & interact with children in a group setting, provide different activities, guide positive behaviors, and ensure a safe environment.

This is a part-time position at a number of elementary schools across the Fox Valley. Choose to work before school from 6:15 AM-8:30 AM, after school from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM or both!
The YMCA of the Fox Cities provides Y-Care at Appleton, Hortonville/Greenville, Kaukauna, Kimberly, Neenah and other local elementary schools.
RequirementsApplicants who do not obtain these courses are encouraged to apply. The Y can provide coursework & support to complete these requirements.
- 17 years of age or older.
- Previous experience working with infants and children is preferred.
- Completion of Introduction to Child Care Professions course
- At least 2 credits in early childhood education, qualifying coursework
- Assistant Teacher registry certificate
Possess one or more of the following or willing to complete within 6-months of hire, in addition to completing Introduction to Child Care Professions:
- Skills and Strategies for the Childcare teacher
- Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or education-related.
- Teacher registry certificate
