Job Description:
Pro Care Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the Wauzeka-Steuben School District in Wauzeka, WI. This is a full-time, on-site position for the 2024/2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience in educational settings and be passionate about supporting students' educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students on the caseload.
• Team-teach in the regular education classroom to support inclusion.
• Provide supported study halls for students on the caseload.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin Special Education license preferred, but a Bachelor's degree is sufficient for an emergency license application.
• Experience working in educational settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of Special Education strategies and IEP requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for working with students with diverse needs and a commitment to their development.

Hours and Caseload:

• Full-time position, 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Caseload of approximately 15 students, grades 6-12.
