The Coordinator of Conflict Resolution and Student Support serves as a University Conduct Administrator supporting student conduct cases and facilitating student‑to‑student conflict mediation using established resolution frameworks. This position provides direct intervention, support, and education to students whose behavior has raised concern or who are experiencing barriers to success in the college environment. The Coordinator supports Marquette’s CARE (Campus Assessment Response & Education) team through coordinated outreach, follow‑up, and compliance tracking, including assisting with low‑level referrals through CARE.
This role also supports campus by delivering foundational conflict resolution education and contributes to student learning and development initiatives related to student development theory.
- Student Conduct Administration:
Serves as a University Conduct Administrator for cases up to and including University Probation; conducts intakes, hearings, outcome meetings, and sanction follow‑up in accordance with university policy and procedures. - Student Conduct Case Management & Compliance:
Manages student conduct case workflows, including compliance tracking, documentation, and student communication using Maxient. Monitors deadlines and follows up on non‑compliance. Provides coordinated outreach, follow‑up, and short‑term support for low‑level CARE referrals (e.g., attendance concerns, situational distress, admissions essay follow‑up) as assigned. - Conflict Mediation & Resolution:
Facilitates student‑to‑student conflict mediation and resolution processes using established conflict resolution and restorative practice frameworks; referring complex or high‑risk cases to the Director of Student Conduct. - Conflict Resolution Education & Training:
Delivers foundational conflict resolution and communication education to students and student leaders through workshops, presentations, and targeted trainings. - CARE Team Coordination:
Serves as a member of the CARE Team; attends meetings, provides updates related to Student Conduct and assigned CARE cases, and supports the implementation of team recommendations. - Collaboration, Assessment & Development:
Collaborates with campus partners to coordinate referrals and resources, contributing feedback and data‑informed insights to support implementation of process review. Participates in training related to student conduct, conflict resolution, and student support…
