Part Time PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The After school Program Tutor provides academic assistance services to members, including tutoring students in specific academic areas related to their core curriculum and assists members with their homework assignments in our after school programs.
KEY ROLES (EssentialJob Responsibilities ):
Prepare Youth for Success
- Maintain a safe environment by implementing behavior support policies and procedures and using trauma informed care practices.
- Tutor students in 1 on 1 or small groups.
- Maintain accurate attendance, behavior and achievement records for reporting purposes.
- Maintain regular communication with site director and day school teachers to keep informed of student needs.
- Ensure quality improvement by monitoring and evaluating program outcomes against target goals and recommending modifications that respond to member needs and interests.
