- Employ the state-approved SAC-IT and SAC curriculum, along with Laitinen Academy's internal curriculum for counseling training and healthcare elective courses
- Ensure teaching methodologies are compliant, engaging, and effective
- Conduct classes, workshops, and training sessions using diverse teaching strategies
- Evaluate student performance and provide personalized feedback and support
- Guide students through the state credentialing application process
- Utilize educational technology and software for curriculum delivery, student engagement, and administrative efficiency
- Stay current with trends in substance abuse counseling and healthcare education
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the Academy's educational programs
- Participate in enhancing internal counseling and healthcare elective curricula
- Develop training programs and curriculum for groups, individuals, and family sessions
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Current SAC licensure or equivalent credential
- Experience in clinical practice, especially in substance abuse counseling
- Proficient in managing both state-approved and internal curriculum for SAC-IT, SAC, and healthcare electives
- Skilled in using modern educational technology and software (Microsoft, Google etc)
- Strong capabilities in communication, organization, and interpersonal relations
Demonstrates expertise in curriculum development and delivery for counseling and healthcare education, utilizing modern educational technology to enhance student engagement and performance. Holds a Master's degree in a relevant field and current SAC licensure, with a strong focus on substance abuse counseling.
