From humble beginnings in 1888, Christus Lutheran Church has grown in faith, hope, and love for more than 130 years. Today, we are a congregation of about 800 baptized members, with an average weekly worship attendance of 200. We are committed to Jesus Christ, the authority of Holy Scripture, and proclaiming the saving Word of God in Law and Gospel. Our mission is to invite people of all nations into fellowship with Jesus Christ and to make them his disciples by preaching and teaching Christ crucified, risen, and coming again as the only hope of eternal salvation.

We place a strong emphasis on our rich Lutheran heritage and our responsibility to share the Gospel with future generations. Christus is an active, multigenerational congregation with ministries for all ages, including Christian education, men's and women's fellowships, prayer ministry, and a vibrant music ministry featuring a Cherub Choir, Senior Choir, and Praise Band. We also support more than 20 domestic and international ministries and seek to be a faithful, active, and positive Christian presence in Clintonville and the surrounding community.

Christus Lutheran Church is seeking a full-time Lead Pastor to succeed our current pastor, who will retire on June 1, 2027, after 20 years of dedicated service to our congregation and community. Following the call of a new Lead Pastor, our current pastor will transition to an Associate Pastor role and remain available thru May 30, 2027, to help provide a smooth and supportive transition.

The ideal candidate is an LCMC-certified pastor with at least five years of pastoral experience, a strong grasp of Lutheran theology, and a demonstrated ability to provide both spiritual and administrative leadership. Our Lead Pastor will faithfully adhere to the LCMC Statement of Faith and Ministry Standards, lead with a servant's heart, and demonstrate maturity, integrity, and a deep commitment to Christ and his Church.

We value a pastor who is grounded in prayer and Scripture, communicates God's Word clearly, cares for souls, and equips God's people for ministry.

Located in northeastern Wisconsin, Clintonville is a welcoming small-town community of approximately 4,500 residents that offers a relaxed quality of life while providing convenient access to larger metropolitan areas, including Appleton, Green Bay, and Wausau, all within an hour's drive. Families are served by the Clintonville Public School District and St. Martin Lutheran School, both of which take pride in providing quality educational opportunities for local students.

The community offers abundant opportunities for recreation and enjoying the outdoors, with parks such as Olen and Bucholtz featuring walking trails, disc golf, swimming, and playgrounds.
