We are conducting a confidential search for a Quality Engineer with a company that is a global supplier of industrial components to the paper, packaging, and wood products markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is based in the greater Oshkosh area.
Key responsibilities will include:- Establish, maintain, coordinate and develop continuous improvements objectives related to implementing and maintaining ISO 9000, Management Review, and any other additional customer quality requirements
- Ensure Quality System integrity by direct involvement with all APQP and PPAP activities. This includes all responsibility to maintain and up-date all customer APQP documents such as ASAM, VSAM and any other customer directed process.
- Attend regular APQP meetings internally with team members to up-date status Maintain visual communication board on PPAP status and new launch information.
- Responsible to maintain, monitor, and report monthly on activities for the plant results.
- Customer Quality contact for all APQP quality deliverables for all program launches.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience as a Quality Engineer
- Experience in the paper and/or packaging industries is a plus
