Electrical Engineer Retrofits

Job Description

This position’s main responsibility will be quoting electrical retrofits, equipment upgrades of various types, safety systems, solutions for obsolete parts, and other quote‑related processes. The qualified candidate will also provide technical support to internal departments and external customers, which requires answering questions regarding retrofits / upgrades and equipment capabilities and functions. This position will work closely with project managers and the engineering department to ensure customer requirements are met for both quotes and orders.

• 2-year degree in Electrical Engineering or 10+ years electrical experience in the manufacturing industry
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and organization skills
• Comfortable working in a high-volume work environment
• Ability to meet or exceed deadlines
• Occasional travel (up to 5% of the year)
• Packaging industry experience preferred
• SAP experience is a bonus
