Overview
Textron Aviation is hiring a full‑time Non‑Licensed A&P Mechanic with prior military aircraft maintenance experience. The role will receive a two‑week prep course and paid training to obtain Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certifications within 90 days of start date.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models.
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customer.
- Perform turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair and engine run‑ups.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Hours of on‑the‑job training (MOS/NEC/AFSC) must be reviewed and evaluated by an FAA Flight Standards District Office.
- Must be able to test for Airframe and/or Powerplant ratings within 90 days of starting.
Textron Aviation will provide a two‑week prep course and pay for the employee to obtain A&P certifications within 90 days of the start date.
