Job Description & How to Apply Below

We're looking for a hands‑on Industrial Engineer to own the flow of our manufacturing operation — from layout and workstation design to process improvement and cross‑department coordination. If you're someone who sees inefficiency and immediately starts mentally redesigning the room, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do Production Flow & Optimization
  • Synchronize production flow across departments to eliminate bottlenecks and keep things moving
  • Evaluate and reorganize physical layout of production areas for maximum efficiency
  • Build and refine processes that reduce waste and improve throughput
  • Plan and support manufacturing projects from concept through implementation
Process Improvement & Standards
  • Develop and roll out operational standards that stick
  • Lead root cause analysis when issues arise and recommend actionable design or process changes
  • Serve as a technical resource for the manufacturing team day‑to‑day
Workstation & Tooling Design
  • Design workstations, fixtures, and tooling tailored to the task
  • Support rollout of new equipment, layouts, and process changes on the floor
  • Evaluate workstation ergonomics, safety, and efficiency — and make improvements where needed
What You Bring Required
  • Solid understanding of mechanical engineering drawings and models
  • Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines without dropping the ball on quality
  • A safety‑first mindset, always
  • Sharp problem‑solving skills, both independently and collaboratively
Preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel especially)
  • Flexibility for occasional overtime when the floor needs it
  • Comfort with applied math for verifying specs and job requirements
  • Self‑starter who doesn't need a lot of hand‑holding
  • Lean manufacturing, MRP, or ERP experience
  • CAD modeling experience (AutoCAD or Solid Works)
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field required. 2–5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred. Equivalent hands‑on experience will be considered.

No travel required.
