Be part of building one of the world's most advanced medical isotope production facilities.
We're looking for a Mechanical Field Engineer to play a key role in the construction and delivery of a first‑of‑a‑kind nuclear production facility that will help transform the supply of life‑saving medical isotopes worldwide.
This is a hands‑on role where you'll bridge engineering and construction, ensuring complex mechanical and process systems are installed safely, correctly, and ready for commissioning.
What You'll Be Doing- Provide field engineering support during construction of a major nuclear facility.
- Resolve mechanical and process system installation issues alongside engineering and construction teams.
- Review drawings, 3D models, contractor submittals, RFIs, and engineering change requests.
- Support installation of piping, pumps, tubing, HVAC, welding, pipe supports, and process equipment.
- Perform field walkdowns, constructability reviews, inspections, and configuration control.
- Work closely with structural, electrical, I&C, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Drive technical problem‑solving while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent field engineering experience).
- Experience supporting large industrial, process, energy, pharmaceutical, or nuclear construction projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems including piping, pumps, HVAC, structural interfaces, and plant equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Experience working with contractors, RFIs, engineering changes, and field issue resolution.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
- Nuclear construction or commissioning experience.
- Experience working on major EPC or capital projects.
- Knowledge of ASME codes and quality‑controlled construction environments.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, Adobe, and 3D design models.
- Help deliver one of the most exciting nuclear medicine projects currently under construction.
- Work on a first‑of‑a‑kind facility producing life‑saving medical isotopes.
- Join a collaborative engineering team solving complex, real‑world construction challenges.
- Play a key role in taking a cutting‑edge facility from construction through commissioning and into operation.
