Help Shape the Next Generation of Medical & Specialty Packaging Materials

We're partnering with a highly respected manufacturer that is making significant investments in innovation, new product development, and advanced polymer technologies. This is an opportunity to lead the development of new materials and products used in demanding medical, dental, healthcare, and specialty packaging applications.

If you enjoy solving complex material challenges, working directly with customers, and bringing new products from concept to commercialization, we'd love to talk.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead new product development projects from concept through commercial production
  • Develop and validate new PET, PETG, and specialty polymer products
  • Design and execute manufacturing trials and product evaluations
  • Work closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to launch new products
  • Develop product specifications, technical documentation, and testing protocols
  • Provide technical support during customer trials and commercialization efforts
  • Evaluate material performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Support sustainability initiatives and new material development
What We're Looking For

We're interested in engineers who understand plastics—not just from a design standpoint, but from a materials and processing perspective.

Preferred Background
  • BS in Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of product development experience within plastics manufacturing
  • Experience with extrusion, thermoforming, or related plastics processing
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 quality systems
  • Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus
Why You'll Want to Explore This Opportunity
  • Lead highly visible innovation initiatives
  • Work on products that directly impact healthcare and medical markets
  • Significant investment in new technologies and product development
  • Collaborative, technically driven culture
  • Excellent long-term growth opportunity
  • Competitive compensation and relocation assistance
Interested?

If you've developed new PET, PETG, or other engineered polymer products—and enjoy taking ideas from the lab to commercial production—I'd welcome a confidential conversation to discuss this opportunity in more detail.
