The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for all detailed processes in connection with manufacturing, routings, time studies, and N/C programs. This role will review new releases for design and manufacturing and support with recommendations for new equipment and tooling. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will provide shop support to aid in improving the coordination and collaboration between Engineering and Operations departments.
YOUR IMPACT:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for completion of a project or parts of multiple projects of complexity on time and utilize lean/six sigma principles and methodologies in making process improvements.
- Performs complex engineering calculations, investigations, and prepares delivery of plans, designs, computation methods and/or reporting.
- Manage the development of timely and accurate N/C programs to aid in efficiency in production.
- Determine appropriate assembly fixturing that are complex in nature.
- Review and select required special tooling and equipment.
- Determine and improve processes to meet production levels.
- Collaborate with Production team and Operations/Engineering teams.
- Develop and support recommendations for new equipment and tooling.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to others within the Engineering organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering or related field.
- Five (5) or more years of experience.
- Internal Contacts: Contact with peers and others involving explanation of information (these contacts may be within or outside department or division), and the gathering of factual information; may include the communication of sensitive or confidential information.
- External Contacts: External contact involving a requirement to maintain a continuing external working relationship with individuals, or organizations.

Write routine reports, correspondence and speak effectively before both internal and external groups. Read, analyze and interpret business manuals, technical procedures and/or government regulations. Read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Prepare and/or present written communications that pertain to controversial and complex topics. - Decision-Making: Regularly makes decisions of responsibility, involving evaluation or information. Decisions may require development or application of alternatives or precedents.
- Complexity, Judgment and Problem Solving: Generally diversified and moderately difficult work. Requires judgement in the adaptation and interpretation of established practices and procedures to meet problems and situations to which the application is not clearly defined.
$82,900.00 - $
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
