This role plays a critical part in shaping the future state of operations by delivering scalable, efficient, and resilient manufacturing systems. The Manufacturing Engineer / Advanced Industrial Engineer
- Lead directly influences cost structure, product quality, delivery performance, and the organization's ability to grow and compete. You will lead a team that supports manufacturing and operational projects from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with operating system principles such as designing systems that expose problems, addressing issues at their source, promoting knowledge sharing, and developing leaders who teach and mentor others.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize end-to-end manufacturing and operational processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Lead a team focused on advanced time studies, line balancing, capacity modeling, and throughput optimization initiatives.
- Develop standard work, labor models, and ergonomic solutions tailored to complex manufacturing environments.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints methodologies to identify and eliminate waste across operations.
- Build and maintain advanced simulation, flow, and capacity models to support data-driven decision-making.
- Create cost models, make-versus-buy analyses, and ROI justifications for capital expenditures and process investments.
- Influence product design by applying DFMA principles, tolerance analysis, error-proofing strategies, and assembly feasibility studies.
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) industrialization efforts, including production layouts, material flow design, and ramp-up strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement through structured events, KPI development, and cross-functional leadership across manufacturing and operations.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned to support operational excellence and business objectives.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with new product introduction processes and manufacturing process development
- Experience supporting Cap Ex projects in manufacturing environments
- Experience leading or mentoring other engineers
- At least 7 years of industrial or operations engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Applicable experience in lieu of degree will be accepted.
- Knowledge/Application around six sigma methodologies is preferred but not required
Travel: 10-25%

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
