We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to analyze manufacturing processes, improve productivity, and drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in time studies, line balancing, value stream mapping, process optimization, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze assembly lines and manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities using Lean principles.
  • Perform time studies, elemental breakdowns, video time studies, and line balancing analysis.
  • Conduct VA/NVA/RNVA analysis, Muri analysis, and process optimization studies.
  • Develop current-state and future-state Value Stream Maps (VSM) to identify bottlenecks, waste, and inefficiencies.
  • Perform capacity analysis and establish process performance baselines.
  • Identify productivity improvement opportunities and create improvement roadmaps.
  • Develop and update Standard Work Instructions (SWI) and video work instructions.
  • Perform root cause analysis for quality issues, defects, downtime, and process failures.
  • Support corrective actions, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with fixture design and manufacturing process improvements.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.

Strong knowledge of:

  • Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
  • VA/NVA/RNVA Analysis
  • Experience developing Standard Work Instructions and process documentation.
  • Ability to analyze manufacturing data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting fixture design is preferred.
