- As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll take ownership of engineering tasks across industrial and manufacturing environments. You will:
- Design, develop, and modify electrical systems, equipment, and power distribution for client facilities.
- Produce and review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Support project scoping, estimating, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross functional engineering teams, clients, and vendors to ensure safe, high quality project execution.
- Lead or support field activities including assessments, construction support, equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Ensure all solutions meet applicable codes, standards, and AFRY’s internal quality and safety expectations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice development within the Appleton engineering group.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 3–6+ years of engineering experience in industrial, manufacturing, utilities, or related project environments.
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles including power distribution, controls, instrumentation, and system protection.
- Proficiency with engineering design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar platforms.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
