Summary

The Director of Finance serves as both a strategic leader and operational steward of the company’s financial health, combining oversight of daily financial management with high-level guidance on long-term business strategy. This role partners with the executive team to shape objectives, optimize capital allocation, and drive profitable growth. The Director of Finance ensures robust internal controls, adherence to company’s policies and effective risk management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Controlling and Commercial Management teams, with responsibility for talent management activities including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development in accordance with corporate policies.
  • Responsible for the financial strategy of the organization and for managing the key performance indicators, driving action plans in case of unwanted deviations.
  • Directs and coordinates the establishment of budget programs.
  • Appraises the organization’s financial position and issues periodic financial operating reports, responsible for overseeing the preparation and submittal of regular financial reports to the parent company for consolidation.
  • Directi and analyze studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization’s policies and operations
  • Coordinate the preparation and distribution of analyses on activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine division progress toward stated goals and objectives.
  • Direct and manage commercial activities and ensures administrative compliance of contracts with the established policies.
  • Oversee the services of treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, payroll, accounting, insurance and other services received from GBS – Global Business Services organization – for controlling purposes.
  • Provide and direct procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records.
  • Drive internal procedures and to ensure adherence to all relevant Directives and Policies, especially Risk Management and Compliance with the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the regional president and other senior executives, providing financial insights and recommendations proactively.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in financial controlling or finance leadership
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and controls
  • Proven leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
  • Strategic, analytical, and results‑driven approach to improving financial performance
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial analysis tools
