Our client, a growing global manufacturing organization, is seeking a Finance Manager – Corporate Development to join its corporate finance team. This newly created role will serve as a key finance partner supporting mergers & acquisitions, strategic investments, post-merger integration activities, and enterprise-wide finance initiatives.
This position offers strong visibility across executive leadership and cross-functional teams, along with significant long-term growth potential within a dynamic and acquisitive organization.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary finance partner supporting corporate development and acquisition-related activities
- Coordinate finance-related workflows across Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Tax, Internal Audit, and operational finance teams
- Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investment transactions from due diligence through post-close integration
- Identify accounting, reporting, and internal control implications related to acquisitions and transaction structures
- Assist with post-close integration activities including GL mapping, financial reporting integration, working capital audits, inventory reconciliation, and internal control alignment
- Partner with Treasury on financing, liquidity planning, and cash flow considerations
- Support transition service agreements, escrow tracking, earn-out reporting, and acquisition-related accounting activities
- Ensure compliance with public company reporting requirements, internal controls, and governance standards
- Coordinate with Internal Audit and leadership teams on SOX readiness and remediation efforts
- Drive process improvement and standardization initiatives related to M&A and finance operations
- Support financial analysis and reporting for leadership and strategic decision-making
- 6+ years of accounting and/or finance experience
- CPA, CMA, or similar certification preferred
- Experience supporting M&A transactions and post‑merger integration activities strongly preferred
- Strong project management and cross‑functional coordination skills
- A hands‑on finance professional who enjoys leading projects and driving execution
- Someone who can coordinate across multiple stakeholders and keep complex initiatives moving forward
- A strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and process orientation
- An adaptable professional comfortable working in a growing and acquisitive environment
- A collaborative team player with executive‑level communication skills
- Base salary target: $120,000 – $160,000
- Strong long‑term growth potential within corporate finance leadership
