Position Summary
As an intern, you will join the U.S. Auto Force FP&A Team and support them in financial planning, analysis, and forecasting. You will gain valuable experience in these areas as well as gain exposure to the U.S. Venture/U.S. Auto Force business model. Your contribution will help the team develop meaningful operational metrics and insightful business analyses on which the company can make sound financial decisions.
U.S. Venture’s Internship Program runs May - August 2027. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI.
Job Responsibilities- Participate in monthly forecasting process for income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Perform variance analysis to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to gain exposure to business processes.
- Work with management to develop metrics to measure business operations, identify areas for improvement, and track performance toward financial goals.
- Assist in ad hoc projects as directed by the FP&A team.
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a 4-year bachelor’s degree program, allowable disciplines: finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze information.
- Attention to detail and precision are required to draw meaningful insights.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards tackling new challenges.
- Curious mindset. Ambition to understand the "why".
