This role will translate Finance Transformation strategy into clear execution plans, governance routines, adoption plans, and sustainable finance processes across regions, segments, corporate functions, and key enterprise partners. The leader will serve as a credible finance thought partner to senior stakeholders, ensuring transformation work is grounded in how Finance runs the business, makes decisions, forecasts, reports, and drives accountability.
This is a critical leadership role for a finance professional who can connect processes, systems, data, operating model, and business outcomes while driving standardization, automation, simplification, and sustained adoption across the Finance organization.
Roles and Responsibilities- Lead Finance Transformation PMO execution across priority work streams, including roadmap planning, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, decisions, and executive-level status reporting.
- Bring strong finance technical depth to transformation initiatives, ensuring solutions are grounded in FP&A, forecasting, planning, reporting, controllership, operating model, and business finance requirements.
- Partner with regional, segment, corporate functions, commercial finance, FP&A, IT, data/analytics, and external partners to drive standardization, automation, simplification, and adoption across Finance.
- Translate Finance Transformation priorities into clear execution plans with defined scope, owners, timing, outcomes, success metrics, and decision points.
- Establish and maintain operating cadence and governance for key transformation initiatives, including workstream reviews, leadership updates, escalation paths, decision forums, and change control.
- Drive change management and adoption plans that improve business ownership, stakeholder engagement, training, communications, and sustainment of new processes, tools, dashboards, models, and operating rhythms.
- Act as a finance thought partner by challenging whether solutions are practical, scalable, decision-useful, and aligned to how Finance leaders manage the business.
- Manage risks and dependencies across concurrent initiatives, ensuring issues are surfaced early, remediated through clear action plans, and escalated appropriately when needed.
- Develop leadership-ready communications that connect transformation progress to finance outcomes, stakeholder adoption, and business impact.
- Build repeatable PMO standards, scorecards, status mechanisms, and governance routines to improve transparency, prioritization, and execution consistency.
- Support knowledge transfer, capacity planning, and continuity coverage across critical transformation work streams.
- Model GE Health Care leadership behaviors, including transparency, focus, ownership, collaboration, and unyielding integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A, commercial finance, corporate finance, region/segment finance, finance operations, or transformation leadership.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, forecasting, planning cycles, reporting, business performance management, operating mechanisms, and financial decision-making.
