Job Description
Tax Advisor DWM Tax Planning LLC, affiliated with Dreyer Wealth ManagementAppleton, Wisconsin | Full-time | In person | $50,000 to $75,000 per year plus annual bonus
About DWM Tax PlanningDWM Tax Planning LLC is the tax practice of Dreyer Wealth Management, an independent wealth advisory firm with offices in Appleton and Green Bay, Wisconsin. Dreyer Wealth Management helps individuals and families make confident financial decisions through financial planning and investment management. We started the tax practice so our clients can get tax preparation and planning from a team that already understands their full financial picture.
This is a new practice and a new position. You'll have a real say in how the practice is built, from establishing processes and procedures to what we take on next.
Position SummaryThe Tax Advisor prepares individual income tax returns for the firm's clients and works alongside our financial advisors to bring tax planning into every client relationship. The role blends technical tax work, direct client contact, and planning analysis. Your clients are the firm's existing planning clients, so the caseload is manageable and the focus is on quality and strategy rather than volume.
This position is based primarily in our Appleton office located at 331 E Washington St. Day-to-day work, client meetings, and team collaboration all take place in Appleton, with occasional trips to our Green Bay office.
The right person is detail-oriented, comfortable speaking with clients, and interested in the planning side of tax work, not only compliance.

- Planning opportunities are identified and passed to the advisor before year-end, not discovered after the fact.

- $50,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience and credentials.
- Annual bonus based on company performance, profitability, and number of returns filed.
