Weekend Caregiver

Overview

Are you someone who finds purpose in helping others live comfortably and independently in their own home? Here at Community Horizons, we’re looking for a reliable caregiver for a disabled woman who is based in the Appleton area. In this position, you would be helping this woman with any of her daily living needs.

Shift: Friday 4:00 PM – Saturday 10 AM;
Saturday 10:00 AM – Sunday 8 AM;
Sunday 8:00 AM – Monday 8:00 AM.

Pay: $16.50 per hour (awake and sleep hours are paid; overtime paid accordingly).

• Trach suctioning and operating a ventilator overnight (training included)
• Companionship and conversation
• Prepare meals and/or snacks according to the client’s preference
• Assist with transfers, sit‑to‑stand, and personal hygiene
• Assist with getting dressed
• Perform light housekeeping activities, including laundry, dishes, etc.

• A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a Wisconsin caregiver background check
• Honesty and reliability are crucial attributes
• Must reside permanently within 30 to 50 miles of the Appleton area
• Smoke‑free home
• Paid training is provided; no prior experience required

Full‑time, Part‑time, Work‑Study program. Onsite location at Appleton, Wisconsin, United States.

US work authorization required. Open to candidates with Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Optional Practical Training (OPT).
