Senior Helpers of Northeast Wisconsin is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Experienced Home Care Caregiver to provide personalized one‑on‑one support for a client in the Oshkosh area. Experience working with individuals with Down syndrome is strongly preferred, and candidates with backgrounds supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities are highly encouraged to apply.

What You'll DoAs an Experienced Home Care Caregiver, you'll provide individualized support that promotes confidence, independence, and overall well‑being while building a trusting relationship with your client.
Responsibilities- Building a positive and supportive relationship with the client
- Encouraging independence while providing appropriate assistance
- Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living
- Supporting routines, hobbies, recreational activities, and community involvement
- Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
- Providing transportation and accompaniment to appointments and outings
- Creating a structured, safe, and encouraging environment
- Monitoring the client's well‑being and communicating updates with the care team
- Delivering compassionate, respectful, and person‑centered care
- Experience supporting individuals with Down syndrome strongly preferred
- Experience working with developmental or intellectual disabilities highly valued
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check
