What You'll Do

Make a Difference in Your Community

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play an essential role in both patient care and pharmacy operations by:

Patient Care & Clinical Services
  • Accurately dispensing prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate dosing, drug interactions, and therapeutic effectiveness
  • Performing Drug Utilization Reviews (DURs) to promote safe and effective medication use
  • Counseling patients and caregivers on medication therapies, side effects, and disease management
  • Providing immunizations and other pharmacy-based clinical services
  • Responding to medication-related questions from patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers
  • Collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Pharmacy Operations
  • Maintaining accurate patient records, medication profiles, and documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Managing controlled substance procedures and inventory requirements
  • Supporting workflow efficiency and operational excellence
  • Contributing to a positive patient experience and high-quality service standards
Team Leadership
  • Providing guidance and support to pharmacy technicians and support staff
  • Promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and patient-centered care
  • Assisting with staff training, development, and daily workflow coordination
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
  • Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License in good standing
  • Wisconsin Immunization Certification
Preferred
  • Three or more years of pharmacy experience
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience
  • Experience with process improvement or quality initiatives
  • Experience with pharmacy management systems such as Pioneer Rx or Rx30
