Senior Helpers of Northeast Wisconsin is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Care Caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a client in the Oshkosh area with Down syndrome.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, caring, and passionate about helping individuals live safely, comfortably, and independently you enjoy building meaningful relationships and providing personalized care, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Home Care Caregiver, you'll provide companionship, daily living assistance, and individualized support while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

What You'll Do- Provide one-on-one companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities as needed
- Encourage participation in daily routines and activities
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Support safe mobility and maintain a secure environment
- Assist with transportation and community outings when needed
- Foster independence, confidence, and overall well-being
- Communicate important observations with the care team
- Build a positive and trusting relationship with the client and family
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience caring for individuals with Down syndrome or other developmental disabilities preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Paid training provided for qualified candidates
