This position requires strong expertise in CPT and ICD coding, clinical documentation, and revenue integrity. Ideal candidates bring excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to educate and collaborate with providers and clinical leaders.

- Full‑time position, 1.0 FTE (40 hours weekly)
- Day shift, Monday–Friday
- Travel to regional clinics as needed
- Department:
Mid‑Revenue Cycle - Hybrid eligible position (We only accept candidates from WI, IA, and MN)
- Deliver ICD‑10, CPT, charge capture, and documentation education to providers and clinical leaders to ensure compliance with payer regulations.
- Conduct documentation and coding quality reviews, analyze performance trends, and provide feedback to support accurate and optimized reimbursement.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert in CPT, HCPCS, ICD‑10, and payer policies, partnering with Revenue Cycle, CDI, and Compliance teams.
- Respond to consultation requests by analyzing documentation, coding, billing, and denials trends and providing recommendations.
- Communicate complex information clearly through written reports, presentations, and provider education sessions.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3–4 years of experience in healthcare coding, billing, insurance follow‑up, or reimbursement
- One of the following certifications:
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
- Certified Coding Specialist – Physician Based (CCS‑P)
- Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS)
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
- Valid driver’s license
