Certified Medical Assistant – Part-Time Contract Position 26 hours a week
Overview
This part-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) contract role supports a healthcare provider by performing essential clinical tasks including patient rooming, vital signs, injections, and phlebotomy. The position offers a consistent daytime schedule and hourly pay, making it ideal for candidates seeking a stable contract opportunity in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for exams and assist the healthcare provider
- Take and accurately record patient vital signs
- Administer injections as directed
- Perform blood draws with proficiency and proper technique
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Document patient information in the EMR system
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – active and valid
- Phlebotomy experience (2+ years)
- Strong clinical competency in injections and vital signs
- Excellent attention to detail and reliability
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Wednesday: Off
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Consistent daytime hours; part-time contract role
