Medical Assistant – Contract Hire (Appleton, WI)

Duration: 5 months

Hours:

• Monday: 08:00 AM – 03:00 PM
• Tuesday: 08:00 AM – 03:00 PM
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 09:00 AM – 05:30 PM
• Friday: 08:00 AM – 01:00 PM

• Interview patients and measure vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height) and record data on patient charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination.
• Clean and sterilize instruments.
• Inventory and order medical supplies and materials.
• Operate electrocardiograph (EKG) and other diagnostic equipment.
• Administer injections or treatments and perform routine laboratory tests.
• Schedule appointments and make follow‑up phone calls.
• Perform administrative tasks, complete required client and OSHA‑regulated forms, and assist at the front desk.
• Enter data into the computer system to maintain clinic and patient records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• National certification in Medical Assisting or a Certificate/Diploma with transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program that includes a hands‑on externship (online courses only are not acceptable).
• CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer) certification with hands‑on skill evaluation and front and back of card. Certificate must meet American Heart Association (AHA) standards but need not be an AHA certificate.

Estimated Minimum Rate: $20.00

Estimated Maximum Rate: $25.00
