Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Cameron, WI
Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Hours: 40 hrs. per week (7:15 am - 3:45 pm)
Start Date: August 16, 2024
End Date: May 23, 2025
Job Description and Responsibilities:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist in Cameron, WI, you will:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' functional abilities and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
- Provide direct therapy services, consultation, and collaboration with school staff and families to support students' participation in classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Caseload Details:
- Serve K-12 grade students with an average caseload of 45 students.
- Serve IEP and 504 minutes, attend IEP/504 meetings, write all speech components of the IEP or 504, and write the entire IEP for students who are speech-only.
- Be a member of the MTSS team.
Requirements:
- Wisconsin DPI certification.
- PEL with an SLP endorsement.
- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Wisconsin state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
