Job Description
Burnett Medical Center is located in Grantsburg, Wisconsin and is seeking a full‑time or part‑time MLT or MT to work in our busy lab. We are a small rural hospital just a few miles from the St. Croix River, and only a little over an hour to the Twin Cities.
SHIFT & HOURSFull or part‑time hours; clinic and hospital labs; this includes rotating call (1 night/week, 1 weekend/month, and rotating holidays); flexible scheduling.
JOB SUMMARYA generalist to perform phlebotomy, urinalysis, chemistry kit testing, hematology, coagulation, immunohematology, and molecular testing.
QUALIFICATIONS- Registered Medical Technologist or a four‑year or Masters' Degree in Biology, Chemistry or Clinical Laboratory Science.
- ASCP/NCA certified.
- Prefer one (1) year hospital experience.
- Ability to multi‑task, work independently, and provide great customer service. This includes ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other staff members.
