Job Summary

Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Appleton, Wisconsin for an 8‑week travel contract. Requires bringing nursing license first day, working 8‑hour evening (PM) shifts for 40 hours/week. This role involves providing care within a skilled nursing environment.

• Float rotation may be required throughout the facility and to all Theda Care facilities within a 60‑mile radius.
• Additional Information:
  Local candidates accepted; no on‑call or callback requirements; no guaranteed GSA hours during orientation; set hours guaranteed each week except during holidays when the unit may be closed; holiday rotation as needed.

• Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 2+ years of long‑term care experience; at least one completed contract preferred.
• Associate degree or certificate required.

• Experience with electronic medical records, especially EPIC.
• Travel experience.
• Prior LTC/Assisted Living and rehabilitation skilled nursing facility experience.
• Familiarity with patient ratios of 1:10 in rehabilitation and 1:24 in LTC/Assisted Living with CNA assistance of 1:10 ratio.
• Scrub color: black (no hats or hoodies, scrub jackets okay).
