Position Summary
Vermont Health (VMH) has a full‑time opening for a Medical Assistant at the Viroqua Clinic. The role may require occasional travel to other clinic locations.
Responsibilities- Rooming patients and preparing them for examination
- Taking and accurately recording vital signs
- Assisting nurses and providers with clinical and clerical duties
- Supporting various laboratory procedures as needed
- Four‑day workweek with a Saturday morning rotation
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required
- Current CPR certification required
- Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred
- Minimum starting wage of $19.51 per hour, with higher rates based on experience
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
