Description If you are an experienced home health aide who enjoys varied activities that help people lead more independent lives, we’d love to talk to you! We are seeking a kind and compassionate home health aide who has excellent communication and companionship skills to provide basic medical care, light housekeeping duties, personal care, and hygiene tasks so our patients are empowered to live happily  must have 1-3 years of experience in home health implementing care plans, and make your patients’ health and safety your first priority.

Responsibilities
* ** Administer Medications:
** Dispense medications as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN), maintaining an annual error rate of no more than one mistake
* ** Resident Response:
** Attend to any and all resident call lights within 10 minutes to ensure responsive and attentive care
* ** Light

Housekeeping:
** Perform regular light housekeeping in resident rooms at least once weekly to promote a clean and comfortable living space
* Keep each room up to high standards of sanitization by changing bedpans and sheets, and performing regular room cleaning
* ** Service Charting:
** Accurately document all services provided without missing tasks, ensuring compliance with company standards
* ** Assistance with ADLs:
** Support residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) according to each individual’s Client Service Plan, with a zero-tolerance policy for missed tasks
* Give patient support with basic care, daily living activities, bathing, getting dressed, going to the restroom, eating regular meals, and taking proper medication dosages

* Activities:

** Encourage and initiate activities to enhance residents' mental and physical health and promote socialization
* Ensure quality companionship and provide psychological and emotional support for patients and family members
* Implement care plans as directed by the case manager, and keep updated and accurate care records
* Enable patients to complete personal hygiene tasks like bathing, toileting, shaving, grooming, dressing, etc.
* Provide personal care tasks such as calling doctors’ offices, scheduling appointments, and coordinating Medicare and other insurance details
* Supervise medications and assist patient in organizing, refilling, and taking medications, as well as meal planning and preparation

* CBRF Certifications or willingness to obtain them during employment
* Current CNA license
* Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is highly valuable- approved home health aide training programs from community colleges are accepted
* Must have 1-3 years of experience as a personal caregiver, HHA/ home health aide, nursing assistant, or personal care aid for a home health agency at patient homes or care facilities setting
* Pass a full employment background check, drug test, and physical, and possess current CPR certification and first aid training
* Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, you may also be required to stoop, bend, reach, and transfer patients up to 250 lbs as needed
* High school diploma or GED is required - some college preferred

Compensation $16 - $20 hourly
