About the Role
As the Front Office Receptionist, you will provide care to patients as a member of the care delivery team, keep the medical practice running efficiently by performing administrative and clinical functions within patient flow aligned with established Practice Management Guidelines, and report directly to the Practice Operations Supervisor.
Responsibilities- Take vitals, room patients, clean rooms, and assist with procedures while delivering excellent medical care.
- Greet and register patients for appointments, provide necessary paperwork, and confirm or update insurance coverage and demographic information.
- Collect patient balances and co‑pays, record all payments, and assist patients with benefit questions.
- Support incoming calls and office correspondence, schedule and confirm appointments, and triage calls for the clinical team.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems (Athenahealth preferred).
Base salary $21.00 – $22.00 per hour.
Physical RequirementsOffice environment; part to full‑time schedule in the office; sedentary activity during most of the workday; external hires must pass a background check and drug screen.
