Patient Care Technician – ICU

Location:

Highland Park, IL | Full Time, 36 hours/week | Shift: 7pm-7:30am (Night shift), rotating weekends. Hourly Pay Range: $18.84 – $27.32, based on experience and qualifications.

• Assist under supervision of a RN to deliver patient care.
• Perform vital signs, including manual blood pressure.
• Conduct 12‑Lead EKG, bladder ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal.
• Collect sterile specimens, conduct bathing, turn, ambulate patients, and perform hourly rounding.
• Check blood glucose, feed patients, admit to rooms, prepare for discharge, and perform other delegated duties.
• Support implementation of patient‑specific care plans.
• Participate in activities essential to unit functioning.
• Contribute positively to safety outcomes and promote high‑quality patient experience.

• Eligible to work in the U.S.; preferred completion of an accredited CNA training program or at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical fields.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider issued by American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience or prior nursing assistant experience.
