Job Purpose and Summary

After completing the FPGEE and TOEFL, you will be eligible to apply and complete a required US Internship of up to 18 months, after which you will prepare to pass all required Pharmacist licensure exams within 120 days of internship completion.
- Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Provide patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and quality of customer service.
- Maintain inventory and workflow management, excluding final prescription verification.
- Support and lead the adoption and management of patient care programs.
- Lead with empathy, compassion, and support the Pharmacy manager in motivating and developing Pharmacy Support Staff.
- Identify critical business opportunities, propose meaningful solutions, and lead the team to achieve specified goals.

Job Duties & Responsibilities Customer Service
- Greet customers courteously in-store and at the drive‑through.
- Answer questions and assist pharmacy and front‑store customers.
- Answer telephone calls warmly and help obtain additional assistance as needed.
- Perform approved register transactions, including cash, check and charge, and bagging merchandise.
- Seek ways to create heartfelt, personalized moments during each visit.
- Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA and company standards.
- Communicate with patients without disclosing confidential drug information.
- Comply with all federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and CVS policies.
- Meet requirements for state and federal licensure within appropriate timeframe.
- Adhere to CVS workflow and maintain standards.
- Process prescriptions, including translating SIG codes, selecting and measuring drugs, capping, and labeling.
- Resolve third‑party rejections and complete any manual claim forms.
- Perform all prescription pick‑up procedures per CVS policy.
- Manage inventory and replenish drug orders as needed.
- Deliver additional health‑care services per state regulation, e.g., point‑of‑care testing, immunizations, and swab‑and‑send testing.
- Support the supervising pharmacist in dispensing drugs, reviewing prescriptions, and monitoring compliance.
- Offer to counsel customers and direct them to the pharmacist if necessary.
- Field medical questions when appropriate.
- Communicate with all healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
- Solicit customer medical history to give appropriate medical advice.
- Communicate with Field Management and Corporate as needed.
- Participate in all required store operational meetings.
- Support a clean, organized pharmacy department per CVS standards.
- Assist with scheduling activities and coordinate implementation of staff training and development.

- Required:
High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED). - Required:
Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent PharmD degree from a Non‑US accredited school of pharmacy.
- Active Pharmacy Intern license in the state where the district is located.
- Preferred:
Eligibility to immunize.
- Required:
0 to 3 years of directly related experience. - Preferred: 3 to 5 years of directly related experience.
- Foreign Graduate from a Non‑US accredited college or school of pharmacy prior to beginning the training program.
